The Official Khanda Poppy is the original Sikh faith-inspired remembrance design, created to honour Sikh military service and ensure Sikh representation within acts of remembrance.
Established in 2012, the Khanda Poppy combines the national symbol of Remembrance with the Khanda, creating a distinctive tribute to Sikh courage, service and sacrifice. It honours the tens of thousands of Sikhs who served and fell during the World Wars and helps ensure their contribution remains visible and remembered.
